Controlled burn workshop

Is there an alternative to a large, uncontrolled. burn? Yesterday the Bushcare group learnt how to manage a cool mosaic burn suited to our local conditions. David and Brenda Parsons led the workshop on their beautiful property at North Branch. Over the afternoon the group learnt that this style of burn is much better for the landscape, poses less risk to property and lives, and stimulates healthy regrowth that is much less weedy.
